Meet the Team: Tracy Doyle - Wordsmith
Name: Tracy Doyle
Role: Wordsmith
How long have you worked at MPX? A little over two months, but I’ve known some of the team for a long time.
Describe your job in three words: Varied, interesting and rewarding.
Best thing about being part of the MPX team? They’re all so friendly and happy to help with anything. I felt like a welcomed member of the team from day one. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it’s inspiring to be part of such a talented team.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now? Refreshing the website content to bring in an aligned tone of voice and ensure consistency across all communications to strengthen our brand identity.
What’s the most exciting part of your current job role? No two days are the same. One day, I can be working on an email campaign, and the next, I’m revamping content for the website. I love the varied nature of my work. It keeps it exciting.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? When I was very young, I wanted to be a hairdresser. In my teens, this shifted to a career in law as a legal executive. But my love of words and writing led me to where I am today as a copywriter - I definitely found my passion (in the end).
Do you have any hidden talents or skills? What are they? I like to think I’m pretty good in the kitchen. Baking and cooking various treats and dishes. I’ve also dabbled with watercolour painting in the past, which I was actually quite good at. Perhaps my most unusual talent is being pretty good at mixing concrete - a skill I developed after extensive renovations at home.
Tell us something interesting about you In 2007, I spent three months in Marbella, enjoying the mix of stunning coastal scenery, fabulous weather and the local culture. It was a great opportunity to experience a different way of life, and It taught me the importance of balance in life and work.
