Transforming Tech Recycling: MPX's New Buyback Feature & More!
Earlier this year, we launched our first of many off-the-shelf solutions, built on top of our existing BOSS System (Business Operating System as a Service) and tailored to specific industries - MPX:TR; Tech Recycle.
This came as a direct result of working hand-in-hand with some of the UK's leading refurbished electronics companies for the last decade. It's been a journey filled with innovation, dedication, and a shared vision for a more sustainable future. Together, we've tackled the challenges of managing multiple types of refurbished technology, breathed new life into millions (that’s right, MILLIONS…) of devices through our repairs and parts harvesting modules and ensured the utmost data security thanks to our integrations with experts like Blancco and their state-of-the-art data-wiping and analytics technology.
6 months down the line, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on how our partnerships with these industry experts has reshaped the refurbished electronics landscape, making technology more accessible and environmentally friendly, one device at a time;
Buyback
The newest feature for our MPX:TR product, our Buyback feature provides a comprehensive solution for managing technology trade-in programs, from device receipt, testing, inspection and processing through to customer interaction and pricing negotiation.
Inventory Management
MPX has worked directly with our partners to revolutionise the way refurbished electronics are managed and traced. Our inventory management solutions have streamlined the process, ensuring that every device is accounted for and ready to meet consumer demand. By leveraging our sophisticated tracking systems, we’re able to keep track of each individual device using a unique Asset Tag identifier, Serial Number and IMEI tracking, as well as capturing the cosmetic grading, attributes and financials of each valuable item.
Repairs and Parts Harvesting
Our robust repair and parts harvesting functions have helped breathe new life into countless devices. By working closely with expert technicians, we’re able to provide the systematic tools to enable them to ensure that each device meets rigorous quality control standards, whilst maintaining full traceability of engineer performance and repairs & parts consumption costs.
Device and Business Performance Analytics
MPX’s data reports have offered invaluable insights into the performance and user trends of refurbished electronics. By providing important data at the click of a button, we've helped businesses make informed decisions about inventory, marketing strategies, and customer preferences. We’ve also provided key business data for financial audits, Marginal VAT reporting and year-end P&L reviews.
Data-Wiping via Blancco
